MOJA DUCK CHINESE RESTAURANT & BAR( Parkmore Hotel)

On our last night in Melbourne, we randomly chose this restaurant and were utterly amazed by the efficiency of the staff. There was only one Taiwanese gentleman working at the time, and he managed everything perfectly all by himself - greeting and seating guests, guiding customers through the QR code ordering system, answering questions, serving food, coordinating takeaway orders for delivery drivers, cleaning and resetting tables, and handling payments. Even as the restaurant got busier, he remained incredibly efficient and swift, ensuring no one had to wait long. We initially worried that the food might take a while due to what seemed like understaffing, but it wasn’t the case at all. The dishes came out promptly, and they were delicious—the roasted duck was an absolute hit with our kids. My younger son accidentally spilled his bowl of rice. The staff was extremely patient and kind even though he is already very busy and we’ve added more work to him. He quickly cleaned up the mess and brought us a new bowl of rice without any extra charge. This experience left us with a wonderful impression of the restaurant and Melbourne as a whole. We will definitely return on our next visit to the city.

The Peking duck at moja duck was phenomenal! Perfectly crispy skin and incredibly tender, flavorful meat. Wrapped in thin pancakes with all the classic condiments - heavenly! Service was quick and friendly. Price was reasonable for the quality. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing food and cozy atmosphere! Every dish was full of flavor — especially the sesame oil chicken stew and the stir-fried beef, both were absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back!

Tucked away near UniMelb in Parkville, this spot has always been my go-to for Peking duck — crispy skin, tender meat, and the softest pancakes to wrap with scallions, cucumber, and sauce. Absolute bliss in one bite. The full duck comes with two styles of serving and a comforting duck soup to finish. What’s even better this time? A crazy good deal: just add $9.90 when ordering duck and enjoy unlimited red wine, white wine, and Moscato. The wine quality is seriously impressive — not cheap stuff, and super smooth. Even those who don’t usually drink will fall in love! They’ve also rolled out some exciting new dishes: 28-second stir-fried beef — ultra tender, tossed with fragrant coriander and chili. Perfect with rice. Charcoal-grilled pork neck — slightly Vietnamese-style with lemongrass notes, smoky and addictive. Crispy spicy yellow croaker — my absolute favourite! Deep-fried until the bones are crispy, super flavourful and satisfying. Winter melon milk — light, refreshing, and great for balancing out the spices. Overall, a perfect spot for group dinners — satisfying, affordable, and packed with surprises every time. The duck remains king, the new dishes are fire, and the $9.90 wine free-flow? Unbeatable.

Absolutely loved this place! The stir-fried pork belly with eggs, peppers, and wood ear mushrooms was bursting with flavor—spicy, savory, and perfectly balanced. The accompanying soup with leafy greens was refreshing and comforting. Every dish tasted homemade but elevated, and the ingredients were fresh and high-quality. The portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful. The warm and inviting atmosphere made the dining experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine, this spot is a must-try. I will definitely be coming back. Moja Duck has got you covered. Cute cosy spot in Parkville that specialises in peking duck but other Chinese dishes too. Love how their duck is kept warm by candles in the ceramic its placed on. Eating and putting your food together is something I find so enjoyable. For the other dishes, a surprising find was the crispy roast pork belly, so crunchy but full of flavour. The scallops and vermicelli was beautifully balanced too. The food is absolutely outstanding. For the $168 set menu, the portion sizes are incredibly generous—three people couldn't even finish it! Not only is the price unbeatable, but the seasoning and flavors are also excellent.

The atmosphere feels very nice and traditional, and the presentation of the food was excellent. The food itself was delicious, though the super crispy pork tasted more like fried, oily batter, which made me feel a bit sick after eating.
